The Crash the Cub book series is based on a real bear cub. He was born in the wilds of Katmai National Park, Alaska. There are a lot of mountains, trees, waterfalls, rivers and lakes in that area. There are also a lot of bears. When this cub was born, he weighed about one pound. Growing up in a big world isn’t always easy for a little cub. Have you ever felt like that?
